I'm the baker behind Muni Muni, and this is the story of how my passion for macarons — and the meaning behind muni-muni — became a bakery you can taste and trust.
"Thought put into every step"
Hi! My name is Alex and my love for baking started when I was just five years old, experimenting with box cake mixes in my family’s kitchen. Over the years, that childhood curiosity turned into a deep passion for creating desserts from scratch.

I discovered macarons in the most unexpected way — while watching a makeup tutorial in middle school. A tray of soft, pastel-colored cookies in the background instantly caught my attention. I didn’t even finish the video. Instead, I searched up a macaron recipe and tried making them the same day. I didn’t have almond flour, so I blended peanuts instead... needless to say, it was far from perfect. But from that moment on, I was hooked.

For an entire year, I made macarons every week, failing repeatedly but falling more in love with the process each time. Then one day, everything clicked. I finally made a perfect batch. I started sharing them with friends and teachers, and that first Christmas, I sold over 400 macarons to people who gifted them to loved ones. That experience sparked something in me.

Today, I’m turning my long-time passion into something more. Through Muni Muni, I create small-batch, handcrafted macarons that go beyond the basics. I believe macarons are more than just pretty cookies. They’re a delicate, flavorful experience meant to be savored. My goal is to bring that magic to every bite.
